TONY AWARDS
The 2011 Tony Awards ceremony took place on June 12 at the Beacon Theatre, honouring the best in live theatre performance.
The Book of Mormon and War Horse were named Best Musical and Best Play, respectively. The celebration of excellence in the 2010-2011 Broadway season also included awards to The Normal Heart, Anything Goes, Catch Me If You Can, Good People, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, The Importance of Being Earnest, Jerusalem and Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
