Its first production was 1967's More Stately Mansions starring Ingrid Bergman, and today is the largest theatrical season-ticket subscription base on the West Coast of the United States, and is unique in that it's seating can be periodically reconfigured for different productions to create intimacy or large spaces when required.

The Bridges of Madison County

December 8, 2015-January 17, 2016

Duty and desire collide in this unashamedly romantic musical, based on the treasured novel by Robert James Waller. The story follows the romance between Francesca, an Italian-American housewife unsure of herself, stuck on a remote farm in Iowa, and photographer Robert, who becomes lost whilst shooting the county's bridges and stumbles into her home. And so begins a tantalizing tale of love, loss and acceptance that will melt your heart.

An Act of God

January 30-March 13, 2016

God has arrived in Los Angeles and he's here to set the record straight! Created by Emmy winner David Javerbaum, An Act of God is an irreverent, comic tour-de-force, which was one of Broadway's biggest hits of 2015. Will & Grace's Sean Hayes stars as the Almighty.

A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder

March 22-May 1, 2016

The darling of the 2014 Tony Awards, A Gentleman's Guide earned an eye-watering ten nominations and won four, including Best Musical and Best Book. This mad-cap celebration of silliness is now heading out to conquer the rest of America!

May 14-June 26, 2016

Fresh from its London and Toronto productions, Thom Southerland's pared-down revival of Titanic The Musical opens the Ahmanson's new season. Weaving together the lives of those on board, this five time Tony winning show is a riveting yet tragic portrait of Victorian society.

The Sound of Music

October 25, 2016

Rodgers and Hammerstein's iconic musical about the Maria and the Von Trapp family is set for a 2015/16 North American tour. This new production is being helmed by Jack O'Brien, who has promised to wipe away the "varnish" and dig down into the real drama that lies at the heart of the story. Featuring one of the great scores of all time, The Sound of Music is set to be the unmissable family show of the year.
