Jeff Beck & Buddy Guy at Hollywood Bowl

Why see Jeff Beck & Buddy Guy?

Let the Riffage commence

Jeff Beck and Buddy Guy have both helped to change guitar playing as we know it. The two legends have collaborated many times over the years, most notably on Guy's 1991 cover of 'Mustang Sally'. In 2016 they set out on joint headlining tour, hitting in , ,

English guitar legend Beck burst onto the music scene in 1966 after joining the Yardbirds. Although his time with the band lasted only 18 months, Beck played on almost all of the group's hits. Beck left in 1967 despite being at the height of the Yardbird's popularity in order to pursue a solo career. What followed was an unpredictable journey of musical discovery that has lasted nearly four-decades as one of music's top recording artists. During that time, Beck has left his distinctive mark on hard rock, jazz-fusion and modern music history.

One of the musical inspirations for guitar legends like Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones and Jimmy Page, Buddy Guy is considered to be one of the greatest axemen of all time. He's a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, six-time Grammy winner, and, as if that isn't enough, Eric Clapton once called him "without a doubt the best guitar player alive".
