J-Hud's Vocal Pipes Set To Blow Away The Hollywood Bowl

Spend your Fourth of July weekend in the company of silver screen and Broadway diva Jennifer Hudson. The multi-talented performer sets foot on the spectacular Hollywood Bowl stage for two special nights this Summer, marking her debut at the historic venue with live accompaniment by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.

Hudson first captured the nation's heart when she places as a finalist on the third season of American Idol. While she may not have won, she turned her considerable talents towards the world of acting and landed what would be an award-winning role as Effie in the 2006 film adaptation of musical Dreamgirls. Hudson's breathtaking performance of 'An I Am Telling You' outshone her co-stars (Beyonce and Eddie Murphy included) and she received an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a BAFTA for her efforts.

Since then, the songstress has appeared in multiple films and TV series, including a stint as a judge on singing competition The Voice, and has released three studio albums 2008's self titled debut, 2011's I Remember Me and 2014's JHUD.
