Back to their roots

Kings of Leon's last album, Mechanical Bull, saw the Nashville band return to a grubbier, earthy garage rock, after two albums of crowdpleasing, big hearted studio anthems. It's been quite a decade for the Followill boys, who emerged beared and rough & ready into the world with 2003's Youth and Young Manhood. They've since transformed into bona-fide international superstars, with wildly popular tracks like Sex on Fire and Use Somebody. With Mechanical Bull, it seems like they've come full circle.

Joining them on this 2014 tour are indie stars Young the Giant, whose second album Mind over Matter cracked the Top 10 this year, and South African rock band Kongos.
