Solange steps into the spotlight

Living a quiet existence up until relatively recently, Solange has patiently worked behind the scenes in music, writing her first album at the tender age of 16, Solo Star and and writing music for her older sister Beyonce as well as for the former Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
