A diverse triple bill for the summer

Rise Against still hold firm to the principal that punk should be about something, railing against political inequality and oppressive social forces with blistering riffs and fist-pumping, no-holds-barred sheer force of will.

They're setting out on a tour with special guests Killswitch, Engage and Letlive, to support their seventh record The Black Market this fall. Released last summer, it was an album which continued the group's ascent into the upper echelons of modern day American punk music that had begun with The Unravelling thirteen year previously. The Black market once again showcased the band's ecological and environmental philosophies, with tracks like People Live Here and The Eco-Terrorist in Me.
