Why See A Parallelogram?

"If you knew in advance exactly what was going to happen in your life, and how everything was going to turn out, and if you knew you couldn't do anything to change it, would you still want to go on with you life?"

A Parallelogram is a bold new play from Bruce Norris, the award-winning writer of Clybourne Park. The play takes the audience on wildly unforgettable ride as they follow Bee who finds her life and destiny compromised but is still bell-bent on dictating the direction her future takes.

The plot of this mind-scrambling comedy has many twists and turns, and mixes past, present and future expertly to create a thought-provoking and highly entertaining story which will leave you wondering how much control we really have over our lives.

Directed by Anna D. Shapiro, who also directed the 2013 Broadway production of Noriss' Domesticated starring Jeff Goldblum, the play premiered in 2010 in Chicago where it received praise from critics.

A Parallelogram stars a superb cast of just four actors - Carlo Alban, Marylouise Burke, Marin Ireland and Tom Irwin.
