Lead Us Back Tour
Third Day, led by the gravelly-voiced Mac Powell, returned this year with their first new worship album in seven years. Lead Us Back was a collection of graceful, slow moving numbers which dialled back the band's rockier side, and drew considerable praise from the Christian Rock press, and was hailed a mid-career highpoint for the band. The album's roll-call of great guest vocalists, including Natalie Grant and Michael W. Smith, was indicative of the group's standing within the genre.
