Gaining prominence throughout the late sixites on both sides of the Atlantic for his spiritual, melodic songs that drew on a diverse range of styles, Cat's best known albums Tea for The Tillerman and Teaser and The Firecat. From 'First Cut is The Deepest', to 'Wild World', every body has their favorite Cat Stevens song, and his withdrawal from music after his 1977 conversion to Islam has done little to dampen his popularity, both here and within the rest of the world. In recent years he's returned to fold with with a string of new records under the moniker of Yusuf, and was inducted into the Rock n Roll Fall of Fame in 2014.
