Gifted Innovators John Hyatt and Taj Mahal join forces

Hailed as one of the 20th century's most gifted songwriters, John Hyatt has left no musical stone unturned in his search for creative truth. From Progressive Country to Roots Rock and Americana, Hyatt has stamped his mark on every genre that allows the union of man and guitar. His underground success has meant a life on the road and with the release of his 22nd studio album Terms Of My Surrender in 2014, Hyatt sets out again with band The Combo in tow.

Joining the legendary muso on tour will be two-time Grammy winning bluesman Henry Saint Clair Fredericks, aka Taj Mahal, and his trio. In the same spirit of Hyatt's innovation with musical styles, Fredericks has shaped the traditional Blues form with structures and sounds from Africa and the Carribbean. He was recently honoured with a Lifetime Achievement for Performance Award at the 13th Annual Americana Honors and Awards.
