Why see Radiohead?

North American Tour 2018

Radiohead return to North America in support of their ninth record A Moon Shaped Pool. Their first album since 2011's The King of Limbs, it was a dreamy collection of lushly orchestrated numbers, and featured a lot of long gestating Radiohead tracks that fans feared may never be given a proper studio recording, such as 'Identikit' and 'True Love Waits'.

Regarded as one of the most influential groups of the past 25 years, Radiohead's musical journey has been one of endless experimentation whilst still maintaining the emotional core of their songwriting. Among their many landmark records are 1997's rock-opus OK Computer, 2000's electronically-minded Kid A, and 2007's pay-what-you-want album In Rainbows.

The band was tight and performed their absolute asses off. The second encore was amazing. Although I am partial because this is my favorite band ever, I would absolutely see them when they one to town again. Not a bad seat in PPG at all. ... Read more

Radio Head Smoothie Theater

Tinkling Pianos gave way to fluid guitar riffs and thrashing rock to drum and bass drums. Thom Yorke swaned around the stage at one point dancing. The drums melting into electro merging EDM into hypnotic kraut rock. At times a single acoustic guitar and voice occupied the stage. The light show danced from a live collage of the band to trippy shapes and low bit landscapes. We left before the epic three encores. ... Read more
