Coheed and Cambria & Thank You Scientist at The Wiltern

Why see Coheed and Cambria & Thank You Scientist?

Two greats of progressive metal head out on tour together as Coheed and Cambria undertake a landmark tour where they'll be playing their epic second album from 2003 - In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3 - in full, supported by Thank You Scientist. The concept album contains the singles 'A Favor House Atlantic' and 'Blood Red Summer', and forms part of Coheed's on-going science-fiction narrative contained in each of their studio albums. Called the Amory Wars, it's also found life as a graphic comic book series and novel.

Coheed and Cambria were founded in 1995, with two of its original members Claudio Sanchez (vocals and guitar) and Travis Stever (guitar) still with the band today. Though a host of labels like new-metal, hardcore and even emo-core are used to describe their style, they refer to themselves as being progressive metal and count some of the classic rock greats - such as Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd - amongst their biggest influences.
