Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga at The Wiltern

Why see Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga?

The concert of the year!

In one of the more unique collaborations in recent years, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga have won wide acclaim with their duet album, Cheek to Cheek, exploring the intoxicating sound of jazz standards. Whilst Bennett has always been known for his career long obsession with the world of Jazz, Lady Gaga's change of scene is perhaps even more impressive than her fashion transformations. But her rich voice was made for the likes of Cole Porter, Irving Berlin and Gershwin.

Tony Bennett rose to fame with his first number in 1951. As a contemporary of Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack, he has collaborated with just about everyone, from The Simpsons to the late, great Amy Winehouse. His recognisable smoky vocals continue to delight audiences, with his 89th year looming, there is no sign of this true American icon heading for retirement.

Lady Gaga is one of the 21st Century's most provocative and experimental performers. Born and raised in Manhattan, she first hit the mainstream with The Fame in 2008 and has gone to court controversy with her wildly inventive videos and stage acts, that have won her an army of fans and international acclaim!

See them go head to head or Cheek to Cheek in their upcoming series of intimate and incredible of evenings, which reaches in , , ..

Bennett and Gaga at Bethel.

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga clearly have chemistry and love between them. This concert is not about pop music, but is about the old standards well known to a more mature generation. So glad to see Mr. Bennett do "San Francisco" live. Lady Gaga's performance of " La Vie En Rose" was beautiful. My only complaint was with some of the audience. What is with so many women having to yell " Whooooo" in the middle of a song. Especially when it is a subdued standard. Talk about ruining a mood. No class. This was and otherwise wonderfull performance by two great entertainers. Glad I was there. ... Read more
