Disney's The Little Mermaid at Fred Kavli Theatre

Why see Disney's The Little Mermaid?

In 1989, Disney produced The Little Mermaid, a fantastically magical mermaid tale, about the frustrated Princess Ariel and her fascination with all things human as she sets out on a journey to become part of their world. Igniting the imaginations of little girls and boys the world over, with enchanting songs and action, The Little Mermaid now comes to the stage and brings the wonder of life under the sea to life!

After breaking records on Broadway, Disney's The Little Mermaid comes to Los Angeles with this all new production from Cabrillo Music Theatre.

I WANNA BE WHERE THE PEOPLE ARE! WHAT ARIEL'S STORY?

After rescuing the handsome Prince Eric from a stormy shipwreck, Princess Ariel's obsession with becoming human intensifies. The red-headed daughter of Triton, King of the Ocean, spends her time with her trusty friends Flounder and Sebastian, who despair of their friends crazy adventures. But things take a turn for the dark when she asks for the help of the mer-octopus Ursula, the wicked witch of the sea. She can grant her the promise of life on land, but it comes at a price...

Once a Local but now out of State (lives in Oregon)

This is a must see performance. From the costumes, to the singing, the sets, the effects, music and performers. The show was very delightful and perfect for ALL ages. There were newly introduced song numbers and scenes but done beautiful to closely relate to the classic Disney movie. Overall just have to watch and worth any seat in the house no matter where you sit. Obviously closer to the stage would be best but any seat is still worth watching. ... Read more
