Join Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic for an evening of titanic showpieces. The night begins with Helix, a composition from the orchestra's laureate conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen, and then followed by Rachmaninoff's haunting Isle of the Dead. The centrepiece of the evening however is Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition. This epic 10 movement suite was written by the Russian Composer as a imgainery tour through an exhibition of artwork by his friend Viktor Hartmann (the titles of the movements each refer to specific paintings).
