The Ring cycle is the sprawling adventures of a group of Gods and mortals in competition to possess the ring of power, one that will give the bearer dominion over the whole world. Told in four parts, Das Rheingold (The Rhinefole, Die Walkure (The Valkyrie), Siegfried, and Gotterdammerung (Twlight of the Gods), it is one of the most influential cycles in the world, continuing to inspire and thrill audiences the world over.
