Another Fantastic Year At The Bowl Begins

The arrival of the summer months means many things, the exchange of thermals for shorts, a lightness of being, and of course, a series of exciting outdoor concerts at the Hollywood Bowl. But first, the traditional opening night extravaganza! This year, enjoy a sky glittering with fireworks and a celebration of legendary conductor Henry Mancini's 100th birthday!

From the instantly recognizable Pink Panther theme to Breakfast at Tiffany's heartbreaking 'Moon River', Henry Mancini was one of the 20th Century's most prolific composers and conductors. In tribute to what would have been his 100th birthday, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra will play a selection of some of his many works, with artists lending their talents including Michael Buble, Cynthia Erivo, Dave Koz and Monica Mancini.
