Richter is capable of eliciting profound emotions from the barest of foundations... it offers civilised respite from a mainstream whose colours have become too saturated and whose constructions are over familiar.

Why see Max Richter?
Max Richter live
Unafraid of pushing boundaries by melding classical arrangements with haunting, often eerie electronic soundscapes and rock instrumentation, prolific neo-classical composer Max Richter has written a myriad celebrated works for stage, screen, ballet, opera and installation art. The in-demand music maker hits the road this fall for a series of special performances with the American Contemporary Music Ensemble and Grace Davidson in support of his upcoming album.
The evening concludes with a performance of Richter's From SLEEP, part of his ambitious 2015 project intended to mimic a night's rest. Clocking in usually at 8.5 hours, expect to be moved by this 90-minute concert version.
