Why see Tom Odell?

Odell on the road

English indie pop darling Tom Odell first introduced the world to his heart-wrenching melodies and soaring lovelorn anthems with his debut studio album 'Long Way Down' and its smash-hit lead single 'Another Love' in 2013. Discovered by fellow Brit and pop songstress Lily Allen, who likened the singer-songwriter's performance style to that of a latterday Bowie, Odell signed to her Columbia-Records-imprint-label 'In The Name Of' and quickly topped sound polls and the charts, paving the way for a stellar career both nationally and internationally.

Transitioning his status from fledgling, fresh-faced newcomer to pop-rock stalwart, Odell hits US shores in support of his brand new album Monsters. After the gruelling touring schedule of his last record, the enigmatic performer thought about taking some time out from music, but was inspired. Make sure you don't miss Odell on this upcoming tour!

Great concert

I was expecting Tom to be with his band but there were just the two of them. He is an amazing pianist and the concert showcased his piano playing and song writing. I have seen Tom with his band before and this concert felt different, it was Tom ‘ in the raw’. I don’t think everyone appreciated this as though he played a selection of music he wasn’t banging out his greatest hits, they were interspersed with music that at times was quite sombre. I loved it and much of the crowd loved it too, I hope his tour is a great success as this ‘stripped back’ Tom is Tom at his best. ... Read more

Fantastic show!

My first time seeing Tom Odell love and it was one of the best shows I have ever seen. Even though I love the harder-driving arrangements of his work with bands and backup, I loved that this show was completely stripped down to him and his piano for virtually all of it. It made things so much more intimate and personal (as did the venue, Thalia Hall, which had a lot of character and great acoustics). I feel really privileged to have experienced that level of pure, soaring talent. I can’t wait to see him again. ... Read more
