A Dash of Danger in Key Largo

Maxwell Anderson's 1930's Broadway hit, which inspired the iconic film noir of the same name, is boldly reimagined by Jeffrey Hatcher and Andy Garcia for the Geffen Playhouse's winter season. Oscar nominee Andy Garcia stars as gangster Johnny Rocco with Rose McIver playing Nora and Danny Pino as Frank McCloud.

With a hurricane looming, the action follows army vet Frank McCloud as he heads to the lonely Floridian outcrop of Key Largo, in order to pay his respects to the widow (Nora) of a fallen friend. What McCloud doesn't expect however is that this seemingly innocent trip will land him and Nora in a world of trouble. Full of gangsters, romance and a dash of danger Key Largo gives LA audiences a taste of old-timey brilliance in this nostalgic hit.
