Scorpions return with their Rock Believer tour!

Why see Scorpions?

ROCK BELIEVER TOUR!

There are few sounds in world music more impressive than Scorpions at the top of their game. The German Heavy Metal icons have been bursting eardrums and taking names since 1965, and possess one of the genre's most enviable back catalogues. One of continental Europe's best-selling groups, they really broke into the mainstream with two huge hit singles, 'Rock You Like A Hurricane,' and 'Winds of Change.' Now for 2022, Scorpions return with their North American Rock Believer tour! With 100 millions record sales and a spot in the Hall of Heavy Metal History to their name, there's no reason to hang up the guitars just yet.

Great show!

Opening band Thundermother did the job of warming up the crowd with an AC/DC-flavored, full throttle set. Fantastic vocals, tight arrangements, and just enough verbal deference to Scorpions. Fun band. Having never seen Scorpions, and relying upon my girlfriend's memories of their heyday (she's seen them three times now - 1988, 2017, and last night - it seems they haven't lost much to age. Klaus Meine probably isn't as prowly around the stage as he used to be, but Rudy and Mattias, in particular, just brought it. A very cool stage setup (loved the slot machine during Mikkey Dee's drum solo, particularly when it came up "devil horns, fire, and three Lemmys"!) Their new album is strong and I was happy to hear a few songs from it, and didn't notice a lot of people running for the bathroom when they played them, either. All in all, worth the money and a very nice night out. Oh, I would like to give props to the camera operator. Knew just where to aim the lense, if you know what I mean. ... Read more
