Christmas is coming! It's time to start planning your Holiday Season shows

From the Los Angeles Ballet's magical Nutcracker to spectacular cirque productions, the Holiday Season is a time when LA really shines! A perfect way to keep the chills away by staying warm inside the theatre, watching something brand new or perhaps your favorite show for the third time.


Here are our picks of what to see in LA over the Holiday Season this year!


1. LOS ANGELES BALLET - THE NUTCRACKER

Few Holiday traditions can match the charm and magic of The Nutcracker ballet, loved all over the world for its sumptuous sets and costumes, and unforgettable music. In southern California, the annual production by the Los Angeles Ballet is a season highlight for families from near and far!

With original choreography by Thordal Christensen and Colleen Neary, original set design by Catherine Kanner, and costume design by Mikael Melbye - set to Tchaikovsky's iconic score. You can catch it at several venues around greater LA this year:

2. CIRQUE DREAMS HOLIDAZE

A specially themed holiday show, Holidaze sees various Christmas ornaments magicked to life as the seasoned troupe of 30 performers from over 12 different countries combine their talents into 20 acts, transforming themselves into costumed characters and perform astonishing feats that celebrate the holiday season with spectacle, imagination and whimsical joy.

    3. LONG BEACH SYMPHONY - HOLIDAY POPS

    For something a bit more traditional, visit Long Beach Arena for a night of Holiday classics courtesy of the Symphony Orchestra. This year's program is set to feature all your favorite holiday songs. From the classic carols to the iconic festive chart-toppers, there is something for everyone! You may even catch a glimpse of a certain man in a bright red suit... !
