Well, quite frankly…
…the cast and the production deserved far more applause than they got Friday evening (9/11/26). Mea culpa. Forgive me - As I was stunned. Stunned by the production, its pace and effects. And equally stunned by the ensemble (and individual) performances. I’ve never seen anything like it - Broadway or elsewhere. The production and performances set a new (and far higher) bar for excellence. Maybe I’ve missed something equal or semi equal in the past. But, for some reason (perhaps the undeniably extraordinary event I witnessed) - I don’t think so. A thousand apologies for my subdued response. Again, you deserved far more than I showed. Surely you all know how good you are and what a great production you are all part of. What can I say? Other than… Thank You. Thank you all for that extraordinary experience. Sam Clark
amazing
Loved it
Awestruck--Amazing beyond my expectations!!!
The storyline, the magical stage effects, and some comical moments all had me sitting on the edge of my seat. The stage effects I think is what really did it. I was happy to see the Harry Potter characters. At some times, I had a difficult time understanding what was said because speaking accents were too strong when certain characters spoke but I was able to follow the story quite well. I recommend all Harry Potter fans to make a special trip to see this play. I believe you will absolutely adore it. I sat orchestra right center behind the center line. I felt as though I was a little too far back--just wish the seats were on a steeper incline because tall people sitting in front of you can be a problem.
Amazing acting and incredible stage/effects
Magical! The acting was incredible. The story was endearing, funny, and enjoyed by the whole family. The special effects - truly the most amazing and impressive set, tricks, and coordination I’ve seen live. We left awe-struck and are still talking about it days later. Bravo!
Entertaining, but hyped
The theatrics were very cool and it's definitely worth seeing if you're a fan of theater in general. A lot of unnecessary transition-work between scenes. The screenplay itself was pretty mediocre but most of the acting was great
I couldn't understand what they were saying most of the time
Special effects were good, but I couldn't understand most of what was said. Very strong accents (keep in mind I'm from UK). Speaking was fast and not clear.
