I'd never heard Russell Thomas before. What a delight He has great high notes and low tones - and he played a tragic Otello plagued by racism and his own insecurities with lots of energy. I was delighted by him and the whole cast. The orchestra was superb. I'm looking forward to hearing Mr. Thomas singing "Fire and Blue Sky" next year!
