Members of legendary new-wave group Oingo Boingo return to the stage together for a run of special tour dates this fall. Featuring drummer Johnny 'Vatos' Hernandez, saxophonist Sam 'Sluggo' Phillips, keyboardist Carl Graves and bassist John Avila bolstered by some accomplished newer members, the tour brings Oingo Boingo's cult classic hits back to the stage!
Active under various guises 1972 - 1995, Oingo Boingo was originally formed by now legendary songwriter and composer Danny Elfman. Experimenting with genres including ska, rock and various world music, styles, they became known for their energetic live shows and have been cited as having an important influence on bands such as Nirvana and The Aquabats.
