Why see Man of La Mancha?

Back by popular demand

After a highly praised run in 2017, A Noise Within revive their fantastically funny rendition of Dale Wasserman, Mitch Leigh, and Joe Darion's iconic 1965 musical, with the entire original cast returning to their roles. A loose retelling of Miguel Cervantes novel, this musical adaptation sees our hapless hero delve into the fantasy life of knight-errant Don Quixote where he and his quick-witted servant Sancho Panza set out on the quest of a lifetime. Including the modern musical theatre classic 'Dream the Impossible Dream' alongside a raft of vibrant songs that'll have you tapping your toes all the way home.

Buoyant, brilliant and brimming with heart, wit and wonder, don't miss your chance to see this fine production one more time this summer.

Absolutely fantastic

This is an amazing production - I was a little off-put at first as it was a somewhat nontraditional stage set up, but once it got started it was glorious. I laughed, I cried, the audience spontaneously gave a standing ovation - wonderful. Cast is top tier. ... Read more

Outstanding

This Man of la Mancha is fantastic. The actor who plays Don Quixote is superb. And so are the actors who play Sancho and Dulcinea/Aldonza. Sancho is so excellent as to almost steal the show. So is the astonishing Dulcinea/Aldonza. And the Padre and Barber were memorable as well, adding a lot of humor. A few of the scenes are very suggestive/violent, due to the choreography. Not knowing this beforehand, I took my kids (ages 8 and 10) to the show. They had read an abridged version of Don Quixote, and we had read the musical before seeing the show. My kids LOVED the show, especially Sancho and his voice, and now they keep singing songs and quoting lines from the show. My kids also asked questions about the rape scene. My suggestion would be a matinee for kids where the most suggestive choreography is toned down. My mother and husband also loved the show. We have all talked about it ever since. ... Read more

Superb!

Don't miss this production of Man of La Mancha. The cast is superb the performance is loaded with excellent voices, choreography, Orchestra and a compelling set versatile constantly keeping your eyes a fixed to their stage. All of the leads deliver a wonderful tempo of all the classic LA Mancha songs for me The Impossible Dream, I Like Him and Dulcinea most memorable. Wow it is nice to go to the theater and enjoy the venue, not be stressed by some quirky misinterpretation of a classic and watch a true professional cast put on a performance that even almost two weeks later I can't stop thinking about it. It was a superb time! ... Read more
