It was an outstanding production. The play was so captivating that the 3 hour 20 minute run time flew by. You could not even pick which of the three actors was the best. All three were exceptional. You will not be disappointed.

The time flew by. Thought provoking with humor and incredible character development. The 3 talented actors seamlessly shift from role to role as you travel through the generations with them from immigrant story to fulfillment of the American dream to the collapse of an empire. Saw it opening night. Go get your tickets now.

Boring - More like a narriation than play

Three actors play multiple roles of this production. Mostly speaking directly to the audience rather than each other. Wasn't all that entertaining. Couple next to us left after the first act. We left, along with several others, after the second act. I would recommend you skip this performance.

Least entertaining play I've ever seen

I love theater. I love all kinds of theater. I'm not only partial to musicals. I love thought-provoking drama. In fact, I love low-key plays with just dialogue and not a lot of action. I love good character development. This play had NONE of these. It is tiresome and dull. My husband and I both fell asleep! FIRST time I've EVER done that, in ANY play or film! You are being lectured to for over three hours. The characters speak in the third person; there is no actual dialogue. There is no emotional content, so you're never 'rooting for' or identifying with a character. It's a factual diatribe. There is no detailed explanation of banking, or investment banking. There is no change of costume. There is no tension. SO glad I purchased the least expensive seats. Save your money! p.s. Wear your heaviest sweater - theater is heavily AIR CONDITIONED (in November)! Wore my heavy winter coat the entire time.
