The deluxe version

I have been a big fan of ALLEGIANCE since its world premiere in San Diego before it made its way to Broadway. I also I watched it several times through Fathom Events. I even on the original Broadway cast recording and listen to it on rotation very regularly on my daily commute. I think it would be fair to say that I'm quite versed in the performances of this show. When I heard that the show is coming to Los Angeles, I was excited. I saw the show last night and I was not left disappointed at all. I was beyond satisfied. This was not a cookie-cutter version of the Broadway show. I noticed that there is more choreography and a lot more humor and also a lot more emotion. Quite powerful! The lead actors had quite big shoes to fill considering that Lea Salonga and Terry Leung originated and have made these roles pretty iconic. The actors in This production has stepped up to the plate and hit a homerun. The new set design makes the show even more real than it already is. Bravo to everyone! ... Read more
