West Coast Premiere - Official Dates To Be Confirmed

Neil LaBute's lusty The Way We Get By closes out the Geffen's 17/18 season. Set in the aftermath of a one night stand, this two hander finds a man and a woman waking up to the cold light of day the morning after and discovering the other is a intensely awkward and dissatisfied with their lives. Following their passionate night together, can this couple build something longer lasting, or do they even want to?

The follow-up to LaBute's The Moneyshot, The Way We Get By is a tight, twisty roimance, that never ends up where you might expect, and another solid work from the playwright who gave the world In the Company of Men and Fat Pig. The show originally premiered Off-Broadway in 2015, with Hollywood actress Amanda Seyfriend and Thomas Sadoski in the lead roles. casting for this West Coast premiere has yet to be announced.
