Fabulous concert with Kirk Franklin & Maverick City. Been a fan of KF for decades. I wouldn’t have known of MC if they weren’t touring with KF. To state that MC vocalist Naomi Raine was spectacular doesn’t seem to accentuate her brilliant performance. Her voice is a gift straight from heaven. KF was joyful, energetic, and intimate with the sold-out crowd. What an uplifting performance by all. The concert was spiritually uplifting as I stood with hands lifted, danced, and sang loudly for the majority of the 3 hour show. The outdoor venue at Five Point Amphitheater in Irvine, CA enhanced the overall positive vibe of the concert. Food trucks, picnic tables, and merchandise tents surrounded a large grassy area were people mingled, ate, drank, and even played corn hole while waiting for the stadium gates to open. Another positive point about the venue, parking is FREE! I can’t wait for Kirk Franklin’s next concert and would be thrilled if he was touring with Maverick City again.

I was a bit disappointed to see less of Chandler Moore and Naomi Raine; and more of Kirk Franklin. I didn't care to hear his old songs. And he played keys on my favorite, Jireh, and completely screwed it up trying to be fancy. I bought tickets to the Newark show on June 12th to see Maverick City and would've loved to hear them primarily all night.

I was very disappointed that Kirk Franklin took over the show with his R&B genre. This dance moves were totally secular which represents the kingdoms of darkness. It felt very worldly. I listen to Chandler and Naomi praise and worship on youtube and it always ushers me into the presence of God. I didn't feel God's presence in the place at all. Good thing He's in my spirit and I carry him everywhere I go. Also, at the end, there was no invitation to receive Christ. Only a worldly dance competition. I believe Maverick City could have held the concert on its own letting Jesus be the total reason and center of why we where there!

Praying for Kirk Franklin. Didn't see the holy ghost's presence in him. God is looking for pure praise and worship. The lost are watching. Let's lift up the name of Jesus Christ in the spirit of holiness. Maverick City continue to praise God in total holiness.

Went to this concert not knowing who Kirk Franklin was, but I don’t think I’ll be forgetting his name anytime soon. Please send a prayer for the man as he is on a huge platform for Christ and seems to be lacking the humility that comes along with serving Jesus. God Bless that ministry and kirk’s heart.
