After recently kicking off his Kinky Boots from Broadway, former Scissor Sisters main man Jake Shears is hitting the road with his self-titled debut solo album! Still keeping the disco sound we all fell in love with, Shears 12 date tour kicks off in Boston, and sees him visiting major cities before rounding things up in Los Angeles. About Jake Shears

Shears found success with his band Scissor Sisters, which he formed with partner Scott Hoffman in 2001. After eleven years of performing around the world, collaborating with legends including Elton John and Kylie Minogue, and being described by Bono as the 'best pop group in the world' - the Scissor Sisters put a hold on their music, and went on a well deserved break.

Jake continued to work with Kylie Minogue, and co-wrote hit single 'I Believe In You', and most recently made his Broadway debut in Kinky Boots, donning the red as Charlie Price.
