Rob ZOMBIE was awesome! He’s be en putting on such a great show since I first saw him in way back in I think 1995 Halloween night!!! Always amazing! Great entertainment! Keep it up! Till next time! Mudvayne ugh… was horrible. Couldnt understand one word… all bass and just screaming. Always sounds good on my app but tonight it DID NOT! I will NEVER pay to see them again after that mess! Sorry!!

Show cut short due to thunder and lightning delay at the start. Powerman only played 3 songs and Static X very short set as well. After resetting the stage then Mudvayne came on played about 45 minutes Zombie then finished out the show. Overall, I could have done without Mudvayne at all, distorted screaming drowning out any actual music, basically a headache for 45 minutes. Not sure about what musical talent they have..I couldnt tell. The lead singer was blowing snot all over the place and drooling (?) WTF ? I would have much rather heard more from Powerman and Static x. HOWEVER ,Zombie almost made up for all of it, what a show he puts on and the musical talent that is evident in his band is incredible. Yes , if you can endure the first three bands, you will be greatly rewarded by an awesome performance by Mr Zombie and crew ! My advice, show up late and skip the headache !

First show maybe the best of the tour, for better or worse

First off Rob Zombie still has it. Zombie's set was great, but relatively short. You really can't say enough about Mr Zombie he is and always has been a hell of a performer. But the rest of the tour sort of dies. Static X by far was the 2nd best performers of the night followed by Powerman5000. Leaving Mudvayne... who honestly had me considering leaving the entire concert early. The bass from the drums and bass player distorted and drowned out the vocals and guitar for most of the night. The sound was distorted to the point it mirrored a migraine and a hangover combo. To the point it almost made me nauseous. By mid set the frontman for Mudvayne looked winded and spent the back half of his set on his knees. His voice started cracking soon after and the rest of his set seemed to be at war with his stamima. Being the first show of the tour I can only see Mudvayne getting worse as their lead singers voice takes more abuse. To their credit their specific fans seemed to enjoy their show, but for a casual fan there to see Mr Zombie bring some tylenol. 3 out of 5 stars. I hope it pulls it in and continues to improve, but I'd say the best was given by Mudvayne on this first outing.

Zombie Great! Mudvayne--well not so much

The Freaks on Parade Tour can be summed up this way: Rob Zombie puts on one helluva show for 14 songs after solid openers by Powerman5000 and Static X, and then enduring the mess that was Mudvayne. Drowned out and incomprehensible screaming sums up Mudvayne. Mr. Zombie put on a great if not curtailed show. if you can manage your way through the first three hours you will be rewarded.
