Phenomenal concert…Jason Mraz at Fox Performing Art Center in Riverside, CA!

First time to experience Jason Mraz live & what an experience! Jason & his fellow musicians were so together & so very talented. No big, flashy backdrops or costumes…just down-to-earth talent. It made you appreciate the music more. Plus the Fox Performing Art Center is a lovely, historical Spanish architectural building, therefore smaller venue. My husband & I no longer want to go to the huge concert places like Staples Center etc. as you lose the ambiance & appreciation of the music you’re there to see. Thank you Jason Mraz for a wonderful evening of great music!

Starts Energetic, and then gets Mellow

Opening Act was Celisse. A bit too different for Jason's fans, not a lot of polish. But then Jason hit the stage with a lot of energy from his new album and eventually settled into medleys of his hits. Jason is personable, fun, positive, and has a great voice, and he can play. I saw him about five years ago when he did not bring a band. BUT now he has sax, trumpets, violin, bass, drums, etc. the entire talented crew ... and Jason is the Ringmaster. Show mellowed out towards the finish. I would suggest he take us to the top again as at the beginning and then bring us into mellow towards the end with some hiccups in between. Good show, Well worth it.

Fabulous at The Sound San Diego

Concert started right on time and was sooooo good! Sound was great, both voices and instruments, everyone is so talented! Raining Jane was a great match to Jason's music, the lead guitar was incredible, and the brass section was fantastic! This show was energetic, positive, uplifting, and a joy. When you see a show at brand new The Sound (Del Mar Fairgrounds) spend a bit more and get an assigned seat. The people with General Admission weren't as comfortable as we were, and while their view was good, ours (from Left Terrace) was amazing! Venue only holds about 1,800 people so quite intimate. Great show!

Amazeballs!

Somehow Jason Mraz and his incredible all female band Raining Jane (and a guest guitarist from Calgary whose name I didn’t catch) made me feel like I was in a concert hall and his living room at the same time. Intimate and soul filling. The audience was so diverse- families with “Life is beautiful signs”, couple of all ages and genders and nationalities and soooo many New Canadians. We left with full and hopeful hearts. Thank you Jason and your wildly talented dream team.

Amazing show! Mr. Mraz and Raining Jane's performance was a breathtaking, funny, inspiring and flat out incredible musical experience. The show started right on time and was packed. The iconic Chicago Theater is a great venue and the show lived up to it's marquee top billing. The ladies of Raining Jane and Jason started playing immediately upon hitting the stage. The soulful sounds put the crowd at ease and in a positive festive spirit. The band puts so much love and passion into their craft that it shows through on every song they play. Long story short...if you love music, want to be entertained and inspired make sure you find when Jason Mraz and Raining Jane will be in your town and go see them! You will not be disappointed. My wife and I Loved loved loved the show!! Thanks Jason & Raining Jane #Salute #MuchLove

No spark - just a flat night

We were excited to see Jason Mraz and Raining Jane since we have enjoyed the shows in the past and this would be our first concert since the pandemic. Beautiful night on the hill at Meadowbrook, all was looking good until he walked out on stage VERY uneventfully and started playing way too many hours of sappy happy children's music. It was so flat... not a single person on the hill stood up , clapped , yelled, or could even sing along. We all just sat there waiting for the show to feel like it was going to begin since any recognizable song he sang was done in a different key and slowed down. The continual happy sappy children's lyric music done with a reggae beat made you keep looking for Big Bird and the cast of Sesame Street to walk out on stage. I don't know who he hung out with during quarantine but the forced feeling of happiness being shoved down our throats was too much. It made us search out $18 alcoholic drinks to help us swallow it! So disappointed, he just seems lost and swept up in all the political correctness that is sweeping this country. I love a nice feel good evening but this had way too much of an agenda behind it. Nothing sparked fun - it was a flat boring night. I felt bad that I left feeling I would never want to see his show again.
