LP - THE MOST UNDERRATED ARTIST IN THE STATES EVER.
Four and a half months ago, by sheer chance, I was introduced to LP’s Lost on You Live Session. From that moment, I needed to learn everything I could about this amazing singer. All the videos I watched, all the interviews, all the photos I saw, all the songs I had listened to over and over, did nothing to dampen the chills and emotions I felt when LP hit the stage at The Observatory in Santa Ana. It was absolutely electrifying. The crowd in the packed venue erupted in roars as she commanded the stage. I had arrived there hours early to ensure I got a good spot front and center. Her aura spilled across the stage, she was right in front of me, I almost couldn’t believe she was real. The eclectic crowd continued to cheer. Every age, every ethnicity, every sexual orientation was represented in that room, all united by a love for LP. We were told ahead of time that LP wasn’t feeling well. That was an understatement. LP told us she was “sick as f*ck” and for her to say that, someone with immense fortitude, she must have been sick as f*ck. And she was. But LP being LP, she pushed through. She gave it her absolute all. Her set list was shortened, she played for an hour and although I didn’t want it to end, I was relieved for her to finish so that she could rest. Thank you LP. This was my first full performance and you did not disappoint. I am now even more convinced that you are not from this planet.

WAAAAAY TO LOUD
Orpheum is a spectacular theatre. My sister and I were so excited to be able to see LP perform. Were expecting more style of Lost on You, not what she ended up performing. We had our fingers in our ears most of the performance. Even the usher said she didn't expect it to be so loud. Disappointed she didn't perform the song we were waiting to hear...Lost on you. We left before it was over......surprisingly the lyrics were more clear in the lobby as we were leaving. Afraid her performance was Lost on us...

TRAVELLED SO SO FAR FOR SO LITTLE🙁
Where do I start?.. I know how it ends.😔 My wife and I fell in love with LP in Oct when we stumbled across her on Utube by chance. We spent many many hours, and almost everyday, getting lost in her heart felt lirics, and beautiful voice. We shared with all our friends family, and co workers. I can say we single handedly created at least a dozen extra fans besides ourselves! When we found out LP was going to be in our country(and even better our province!) We had to go see our new Icon! We easily found another couple to come and share in our exciting adventure to see LP! Why adventure? Well..We live 10hrs from Vancouver. Our friends have 4 kids, and us as well. Time was booked off from a hectic work schedule, babysitters were booked, flights, and lodging booked.Check! Now let the fun begin! Well... what we got instead was an Email night before saying CANCELLED due to illness. No more, no less. We hope she’s feeling better. Uk hangovers are a real bummer...so we hear. 🥴 Good times. 👎🏻

JUST TOO LOUD
Unfortunately, the music was deafening. Was it the mix? I don't know. What I do know was that my friend and I (I had travelled 5 hours to get there) left after just a few songs. There wasn't any point. There wasn't a word that I could understand and the sound was painful. I've been going to concerts for decades, so I think I can judge fairly. (The Orpheum is always beautiful, but I admit I was surprised at how many people were smoking pot indoors).
