Dudamel returns to the Bowl!

Why See Los Angeles Philharmonic - Rachmaninoff?

ClassicalConcerts

Rachmanioff's towering concerto!

Dudamel steps up the podium for this exciting concert at the Bowl. First presenting an odyssey through some of the Golden Age of Hollywood's most beloved scores, the evening culminates with a rousing performance of Rachmaninoff's Third Piano Concerto. Featuring the talents of Khatia Buniatishuili at the piano, this is one classic LA experience you'll never forget.

Written for his first tour of America in 1909, Rachmaninoff's Third Piano Concerto is known for its 'towering' technical difficulty,  proving a delicious challenge for players the world over!
