Watch Three Iconic Artists At A Night Of Reggae At The Hollywood Bowl
With some of the best names in reggae, Reggae Night XVII celebrates the genre with Beres Hammond, Protoje and more at the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. It is part of the annual KCRW World Festival that sees an exciting collection of music events take place over the summer.
Jamaican artist Beres Hammond is widely regarded as one of the greatest reggae artists and is gifted with the same brilliance as Dennis Brown, Bob Marley and many other greats of the genre. After releasing his debut album, 'Soul Reggae' in 1976, Hammond went on to become one of the pioneers of Lovers Rock.
The 17th annual reggae festival will also feature a performance from Protoje, who released his debut album in 2011. The modern reggae artist first started practising music in 2005 with his hip hop infused mix tape 'Lyrical Overdose Volume 1' and has since gone on to release four studio albums.
