Anita Berber is Dead! follows Anita's struggle to create a new mode of expression that defied artistic boundaries, as well as creating an identity free of constraint. Defiant, bold, and extreme, her work reached its apotheosis in the stunning, strange, and ultimately doomed creation: the "Dances of Lust, Horror and Ecstasy" which saw her banned from the concert halls of Germany and Austria.
