One of the oldest ballet companies in the world, Teatro alla Scala Ballet Company bring this vivid revival the haunting fairytale to life this summer in a special season at the Segerstrom Hall. The story of a peasant girl who dies of a broken heart when she discovers her lover is engaged, and her subsequent existence as one of a band of vengeful Wilis, Giselle is a beautifully romantic ballet that will sweep you up from the first bar, taking you on an unforgettable journey full of enchantment, mystery and supernatural thrills.
King James focuses on two friends living in Cleveland who bond over their favorite game and their favorite player LeBron James - who's widely considered one of the greatest basketball players of all time and comes from the same city as them. The player's talent and achievements bring hope to a city that needs it!

Featuring mainstage classics Aida, Don Giovanni, and La Cenerentola, as well as groundbreaking company premieres like Missy Mizoli's modern classic Breaking Waves, the Los Angeles Opera's 2020/21 season invites audiences into the enchanting world of opera once more. The season sets off to a rousing start with Verdi's impassioned masterpiece Il Trovatore, featuring Verdi master and conductor James Conlon, the LAO Orchestra and Chorus, soprano Angel Blue and tenor Gregory Kunde.

Featuring mainstage classics Il Trovatore, Don Giovanni, and La Cenerentola, as well as groundbreaking company premieres like Missy Mizoli's modern classic Breaking Waves, the Los Angeles Opera's 2020/21 season invites audiences into the enchanting world of opera once more. Programming continues Wagner's romantic masterwork, Tannhauser, which features the conducting talents of James Conlon, the LA Opera Orchestra and up and coming German tenor Issachah Savage in the title role.
