Alternative rock group Silversun Pickups are on tour across North America in support of their thrilling new album Physical Thrills. With glowing reviews across the music press, the new album is seen as a polishing up of their much loved energetic sound and the live shows are set to be no exception, with a lively new approach to their already outstanding, dynamic performances.
The Los Angeles-based four-piece began in 2000 and have maintained a steady output of top-quality indie-rock, with Physical Thrills forming their sixth studio album. Produced by producer-extraordinaire Butch Vig (widely known for his work with Nirvana, Garbage, Foo Fighters, Green Day and others), the album's second single "Alone On The Hill" was the band's first ever to feature bassist Nikki Monninger on lead vocals, teasing an exciting new aspect of their live show.

Silersun Pickups bring it!
Loved the show! I'm a long time fan and seeing them live adds so much. Their energy and quality of performance are astounding. Great job on fine tuning the sound as the show progressed. It's such a joy to see them live. The sold out audience was loud and enthusiastic which helps bring out the best in the performers. I would strongly recommend catching this band live. I have back issues which limit the time I can stand. The KF staff were very helpful in providing me a seat. Enjoyed a pre show brew and snack across the alley at the Double Tap pup, and the staff there were fantastic. All in all a 10 out of 10 evening I will not forget. ... Read more
