Former Talking Heads frontman and all-around excellent human David Byrne graces us with an ambitious new tour in support of his newest record American Utopia, his first solo release in 14 years. In typical Byrne style, expect a spectacle that combines the his musicianship, artistry, and delightfully off-beat nature as he presents favorites old and new for this highly anticipated new era.
As a leader of the New Wave scene in the late 70s and early 80's Byrne has enjoyed enduring success firstly with Talking Heads and then as solo artist, filmmaker, photographer, activist and writer. A friend of Bowie and collaborator with Brian Eno (who features on American Utopia's lead single 'Everybody's Coming to My House,) his perpetual zeal for creating has cemented him as a true auteur, an icon of the modern age.
Don't miss this very good reason to be cheerful when Byrne rolls into town in 2018.

David Byrne in Glasgow , Scotland last night.
Seen him 6 times and once with the Talking
Heads in 1977 and this was the best show
Ive ever encountered , never mind just his
previous shows. Bowie in 1978 , i thought
would never be topped, but ate my words
last night. Exceptional Mr Byrne and good to
see you home for at least just one night.

Thank you Universe for bringing David Byrne and Co. to Cincinnati!!!! Whao! Totally
new level of experience. David has always been ultra talented. Coreographed
musicians, vocalists, all performers. All live instruments. I love the way that David
uses his voice. His talent totally resonates with me. He is a deep thinker with levity in
his expressions. Wonderful. How is 66 so young? Amazing! Wonderful! Thank you!
Totally want the video of this tour. Wish I could follow you like a groupie to see Ibeyi
in CA!!! Would love to have names of fallen victims of fear mongering racism on the
monitors to each side of the stage. Many names we know. Some we don't. I don't
want your powerful message lost on the crowd. Thanks for an amazing experience!
