Following the death of their father, siblings Ally and Bo are back in their Idaho hometown to attend his funeral, where they discover their mother Carol has found a strange way to channel her grief: painting the family home entirely white. Alarmed by the houses new look, and suspecting her newfound alcoholism the culprit, Ally and Bo decide to get to the bottom of the matter, in the process finding a trove of home videos left by their dad that may address a more surprising method to Carol's madness.
