Why see Chicago - The Band?

Chicago Is Back On The Road

One of the giants of American rock, Chicago are still going strong after half a century! The self-proclaimed 'Rock & Roll band with horns' produced hit after hit in the '70s and '80s, including the iconic ballad 'If You Leave Me Now', as well as 'Baby, What A Big Surprise' and 'Old Days'. Don't miss them live in 2024 as they hit the road!

Poetic then, that the only band they never outsold in their heyday was actually The Beach Boys. An unmissable double bill, Wilson will also be joined by BB co-founder Al Jardine and 70's member Blondie Chaplin.

Chris was amazing!!!!! Not enough Steve Vai!!!!!!! Neil did all 3 vocals and was a formidable replacement. Although Judith Hill is an excellent singer, I just think Chris would've been the one chosen to sing "Color My World" to keep it original-ish. VoicePlay made a great addition, but Robin Thicke needs the boot! The 3 original are still amazing and played and sang their hearts out! The concert served as a poignant reminder to me of Terry Kath's immense talent and the profound impact he had on the music world. His legacy lives on, not just in the continued popularity of Chicago's music but also in the hearts of fans worldwide who continue to cherish his music and his memory. ... Read more

Awesome!!!!

Saw Chicago at the Oakdale Theater, CT five years ago and at Saratoga Springs, NY two years ago, and tonight in Springfield, MA. Wow!! The new lead singer is unbelievable and has a vocal range that is incredible. Close your eyes, and you would think you were back in the 70s listening to the original band. Then you add the fact that the three brass players are original members of the band and are still "rock stars". Thank you for giving the four of us a concert of a lifetime and playing every song we all wanted to hear. By the way, your encore, as you know, had everyone standing and dancing, and celebrating your beautiful concert. Can't wait for our next chance to share your music in a live venue. So proud of what you give to your fans. ... Read more

Till next time!

Summers of ‘65 and ‘66 I saw The Fab Four at Shea Stadium in NY. 57 years later, summers of ‘22 and ‘23, it's Chicago at the MGM Grand just outside of DC. I enjoyed this more! I couldn't stop smiling! Was particularly knocked out by the brass!! When the concert was over, my husband only half-jokingly commented that it was hard to believe that so many white-haired people would be out so ‘late’ on a Tuesday night for a rock concert! Well, we would do it again! Thank you, Chicago! Awesome!! ... Read more
