I’ve been listening to Phish and going to concerts for a few years now. Saw them tonight at MSG. They’re still a great jam band …….sometimes. Trey has gotten extremely lazy in his playing on these long slow jams. Playing the same 5 notes over and over again is BORING. He has lost a great deal of creativity. Trey, listen to yourself. It’s not great. Go see Goose if you can. Fresh , creative, and Not Boring. And Trey, try and exploring more than 5 or 6 frets on the fingerboard. I know you can do it. I’ve heard you do it before. Come back to us.

On Friday, July 27th , 2018 I went to my 1st Phish concert. People around me started smoking marijuana. Phish music is very interesting and the concert was really long , which is usually a good thing, but not tonight , because I was waiting for magic to happen and it didn’t happen. The intermission between the sets was way too long, but I guess they needed more time to sell beer and T-shirts. If you go to a lot of concerts, you will want to go to a Phish concert, because the way they play is not normal, but that could be a good thing. Don’t expect Phish to play their radio hits because they aren’t any.
