It’s been a while since I’ve been to a rock concert. The Strokes didn’t disappoint at the LA Forum. My biggest surprise was too see so many young people in the crowd. As a middle aged man following this band, I expected the crowd to be mostly above 30 years of age. I was very glad to see that the new generation has great taste for a talented rock n roll band. I’ve seen bigger bands than the Strokes in my time but these guys rocked the forum better than Nirvana did in the same theatre back in the 90’s. The Strokes left you wanting more and at the same time exhausted given how fast they moved from one hit after another. Gotta love the energy of the crowd as well. Great experience overall.
