Ali is UB40! just as awesome as the 80's when I first saw them at Mesa Amphitheatre.. It was my 61st birthday gift. Huge venue but very comfortably cozy.

UB40 at the Ryman

Being of a Caribbean background, born in England, in my youth when this band was at its height, the stars were seriously aligned in Nashville and Ali, Astro and Mickey were there to oversee it. They did it beautifully. All of us are a little older and hopefully wiser, but these gentlemen were in rare form. It was one of the best concerts I've ever attended in a place I thought I never would. If you are not behind a pole, is there really a bad seat at the Ryman, even in the balconies? I know it may not happen again, like the full eclipse, but should they come again, how could I miss such a perfect alignment of the stars for a second time, eh?

Wow! I loved the show, never expected them to sound this good after all this time but they really ROCKED! If you get a chance to see them do not pass it up!

Disappointed in Calgary from Calgary, Alberta

What did I watch? The musicians were incredible and the quality of the music was brilliant but vocals were truly terrible. They were obviously all having fun which was good to see but I and many, many others were hugely disappointed. Unfortunately, Duncan just doesn’t have the voice for the music and there aren’t words to describe how I feel about the singing percussionist. Well, maybe horrendous, shocking?? I can’t decide. I have never been so disappointed in a gig before. I saw them in England 25 years ago when they had their original line up and they were jaw droppingly good. This was just awful
