Musically Entertaining and Hilarious

This is my first Rick Wakeman concert attendance, having been a Yes fan since the mid-80's! As expected, based on what I have previously watched and enjoyed on DVD, Wakeman has once again delivered without fault. His virtuosity behind the piano still amazes me after listening to his music over the decades - some 70+ albums that he has released, most of them highly underrated. Between his musical pieces, the anecdotes that he shares with his audience is always refreshing, humorous and well articulated. I have not yet heard him repeat any of his hilarious stories, so this show also has that element of originality! A definite recommendation if you need to escape for the evening and enjoy an outing of musical splendour mixed with a decent amount of humour. ... Read more

Then the concert - he had a Yamaha piano and a Korg, the majority of songs were on the piano but the Korg was a nice touch. And as far as his playing goes - the man still has it. Lastly, he is a genuinely funny chap. All that said - the missus and I had a great time ... Read more
