Todd @ Wiltern Is BETTER than Ever!
Utipia at the Wktern blew me away. The giy is 70 and was shreeding guitar like a blizzard. His boice seems stronger thanever. And his stage energy was fabulius. Hthe first set was his old vintage Utipia jam rock. A lot of notes and they four of them nailed it. The second set they played the hits. Todd truly is a wizard a true star
r said come to the Clearwater amphitheater are incredibly good sound sounds just great
Places well structured and built real well due to the fact that the winds that come off that area if the storm comes in we blow the top right off that place but they hats off to the civil engineering and again great shows Great sound JP Seminole
Nov 10 gig in Denver outstanding
first set was 90 minutes of more accessable solo work. Excellent band. GREAT TO HAVE Jesse Gress back from lung transplant!!
Still 'Ever Popular' without the 'Tortured Effect'
This performer is not one of those aging rockers playing local festivals and trying to live off of a couple of old hits, but a real artist that continues to create great new music after ~50 years (White Knight) and better versions of himself. He seems to have been gifted with a 'Tony Bennett' like larynx as his voice and range holds up nicely in a more than 2.5 hour show! A loyalist since the early '70's, I continue to be amazed at his creative talents and sometimes forgetful of the large library of original music that he's created. I also had an opportunity to meet and chat with TR before the show and he's quite humble and kind, talking about his software creation (Flow Fazer) and bragging about his son Randy a former minor/major league baseball player now coaching in Northern Ohio. Hey R&R HoF: TR is YOUR loss, not his.
Diverse and Enjoyable.
A totally engaging anthology with great visuals. He has a refined humility that establishes an audience connection like no others. There was great story telling, audience Q/A and he gave his band members some great solo moments. This was a diverse and enjoyable show, -- a solid 2 2/3 hours of captivating entertainment
From the Heart
The first time I saw Todd was in 1974 in Seattle. I saw him in 2018 and 2019 in Portland, Oregon. Todd is a walking encyclopedia of rock and roll. He is a complete genius and plays from the heart. Watching him perform is a treat and an honor. His band is pretty amazing too!
