A rag-to-riches true life tale that features glamour, intrigue and romance, Evita The Musical is synonymous with 'Don't Cry For Me Argentina', the classic song that perfectly exemplifies Peron's poignant relationship with her country as well as the emotional speeches she gave. Born in rural Argentina, Peron later pursued a career in film in Buenos Aires, where she met and married Juan Peron, future president. This launched her political career and she became a champion of the working classes.
