ENTERTAINMENT AT ITS FINEST

If you're looking for a true "magic show" you're better off going to the Magic Lounge or other such places. If you are looking to be entertained while enjoying wonderful illusions, audience participation tricks, comedy and a great night out, then this is the show for you. They do not disappoint. Their stories, illusions, comedy and work with the crowd is wonderful. My daughter had purchased tickets for my birthday last year and after a couple of cancellations we were finally able to go see them at this incredible venue. Their closing act was very heartfelt and very personal to them and we were walking down their memory lane along side Penn and Teller. Go see them and have a great time!!

Entertainment at it's best!

Penn & Teller are known as magicians but this actually doesn't give them nearly enough credit as complete performers. They are magicians, and comedians, and jugglers, and musicians...... They put together an amazing show, incorporating the audience into the majority of their act. They divulge magical tricks/secrets in equal measure to astonishing with tricks the defy logic. All the while keeping the crowd doubled over with laughter. Even though this show was a bit cleaner and less gory than previous shows, I was surprised at the number of people who brought young kids. No spoilers but one particular trick did disturb many of the kids sitting near me. Overall, a great night and if you can, try and get a seat it the first few rows if you want to be part of the act!

Disappointed

I thought Penn and Teller was amateurish. We had good seats, stage left section 1 about 6 rows back. They were on my bucket list and I was disappointed. 1) The Heads or Tails with crowd participation wasn’t funny or magical. 2) The large empty box wrapped in bubble wrap and rolls and rolls of tape, I saw the slit in the side of the box where someone could have crawled in and out. 3) The Slight of Hand trick was not magical or intriguing. One person directly in front of us fell asleep and another guy 3 rows in front of us slept thru most of the performance. We found the show was boring and repetitive because we saw some of the tricks on the Jimmy Fallon shows. We would not recommend it.

Much Better on TV

I have been a Penn and Teller fan for many years and really looked forward to the live show. However, we were very disappointed with our balcony seats as we found it very hard to hear and impossible to see the illusions. The video screens set up to help were useless as they did not show closeup shots. I do not recommend this show at this venue unless you get seats in the first few rows.

So disappointed. Where did these one time high energy dyamos go? Their magic was once so stimulating and exciting. Magic you never saw before. Breath-taking, it was once the star of their show. Now? Their magic is reduced to trainer level magic. Penn is a slouth, he shuffles around the stage, killing time, trying to do what they once did...entertain. They are just tired old guys. Penn has turned into a disheveled, exhausting, used up entertainer. He kept pimping his TV show where he and Teller sit and analyze how they can figure out how contestants magic tricks are done. Perfect venue for them cause they can sit. Our seats were 2nd row from the stage cause we wanted the full effect of P & T. Unfortunately, we got the affect alright. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Go to a real magic show and spend lots less.

TWO MEN. TOO TIRED.
